Why choose us?
Employment law and HR is all we do
We specialise in what we are best at – so we can achieve the best outcome for you.
We like working with people
We’d much rather meet or discuss matters over the phone than exchange emails, but we’ll communicate in a way that is most convenient for you.
We are approachable and honest so have a down to earth and no-nonsense approach to getting the best results for you. We’ll talk with you to be sure we know what you want and work hard to get it for you – and that means refusing to sit on the fence when it comes to making a decision and giving you the best advice.
We aren’t a call centre or helpline
You’ll be working with us for a while – so we’ll get to know each other well. As well as being available to you on the phone or email whenever you need us, we’ll be proactive from the start – always spotting the next issue rather than waiting for you to contact us.
If you need help outside office hours, we can do that too.
We understand your business and the pressures you work under
We haven’t always been solicitors or HR specialists – although we do have many years’ experience. So, we’ll know what you are talking about and the difficulties you are facing. You can find out more about Philip, Charlotte and Siân here.
No hidden charges…we know you are cost conscious
We are too. You want a clear, definite guide to how much our services will cost. That’s why we prefer fixed fees to charging an hourly rate. We guarantee you will know how much something might cost before you decide to instruct us. Depending on what your instructions are, an hourly rate may be better for you – or you may have insurance in place to cover all your costs. If you are an employee with a Settlement Agreement, it shouldn’t cost you a penny.
We’re experienced specialists in employment law and HR
You won’t get a trainee, paralegal or unqualified ‘lawyer’. There is no substitute for our expert knowledge.
We tell it to you as it is
Our advice is always practical and honest and to the point. We know you need to understand your options, strengths and weaknesses too. We won’t shy away from telling you when you have done something wrong. If you have, we’ll do our best to fix it and help you make sure it doesn’t happen again.
We always weigh up your legal, commercial and reputational risks with you to give the best advice possible.
We really enjoy what we do
We don’t mean the dry black letter of the law – we can’t pretend some of it isn’t tediously dull. It’s being innovative and putting it in practice to get the best outcome for you that we love.
