We are recruiting for an administrator to join us whilst working towards a Business Administration level 3 or 4 qualification with Wiltshire College.
Main Job Activities
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls, take messages, making appointments and advising clients on administrative processes and preparation for meetings with fee earners
- Managing own workload and liaise with assigned fee earners to ensure efficient execution of work is achieved at all times
- Accurately and quickly transcribing, word process, type and prepare documents as required including letters, forms, standard documents, briefs and settlement agreements, and prepare same for issue as necessary
- Dealing with our email inbox and filtering enquiries. Forwarding enquiries to the relevant fee earners and arranging follow ups where relevant

- Assisting solicitors with their cases
File management including:
- Opening new files, including client ID Checks
- Maintaining current files in neat order ensuring all required documentation is completed and filed
- Closing files on completion and archiving files
- Liaising with third parties including Counsel, Acas and other solicitors where required.
- Arranging conferences and meetings as requested
- Preparing and sorting incoming and outgoing post and arranging collection / deliver of same
- Assisting fee earners with any following up on enquiries
- Social Media postings including on Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook and writing of articles for our website
- Recording of all cheques and cash received into the office, either by post or in person in accordance with the Firms accounts procedures and SRA rules
- Any other such duties as the relevant fee earners ask from time to time
- To work at all times in accordance with the policies and practices of the firm and complying with the relevant statutory bodies including the SRA and accounting rules
