Heather Reilly, Solicitor and Partner

I graduated from Aberystwyth University in 2012 before completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Chester. Since qualifying as a solicitor, I have specialised in family law.

My practice areas include children disputes, domestic violence injunctions and Special Guardianship applications. I have extensive experience in divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships and matrimonial financial disputes.

I am also able to give advice and prepare pre-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, parenting plans and deeds of separation. I advise a wide range of clients, separated spouses, same sex couples and cohabitants. I regularly attend Court on behalf of clients to advocate on their behalf. I also have a background in housing law and welfare tribunals and can apply this knowledge where appropriate.

I pride myself on giving realistic and pragmatic advice to my clients in an approachable and empathetic manner. I endeavour to find creative solutions that allow client’s to achieve their goals. I appreciate that people come to me during a distressing and stressful period of their lives and I aim to help you navigate the process with clarity and sensitivity.

I am a trustee of Wiltshire Law Centre, a charity which provides free legal advice to alleviate poverty and disadvantage. I am also a member of the Bristol Law Society’s Women’s Division. I am regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and a member of Resolution,  an organisation committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes.
